It is sponsored by CompTIA - the Computing Technology Industry Association, and tests are administered by Pearson VUE. Security+ incorporates best practices in hands-on troubleshooting, ensuring candidates have practical security problem-solving skills required to perform many tasks. Students will learn to assess the security posture of an enterprise environment and recommend and implement appropriate security solutions. Students will also learn to monitor and secure hybrid environments including cloud, mobile, and IoT. Finally, students will be able to operate with an awareness of applicable laws and policies including principles of governance, risk, and compliance.
