Sales Engineer

About This Role

We are seeking an innovative and detailed oriented individual with a passion for driving technical sales strategies to promote successful customer lifecycles for both sales and services. In this role you will extract business use cases and pain points from customers, prospective clients, and partners alike, brainstorm solutions with internal teams, effectively communicate how SOFTwarfare® progressive product capabilities can solve identified pain points, and demonstrate the value our integration and authentications platforms will bring to the customer’s cybersecurity posture. You will be the customers’ primary point of contact for feedback and resolution of issues and will be responsible for communicating feature requests and product enhancements to our Product Management team.

              

Essential Functions

  • Provide pre-sales product education and technical assistance

  • Provide guidelines tailored to customer security programs and integrations with customer’s existing tools

  • Prepare and contribute content to customer demonstrations including demos and training

  • Act as technical resource for meetings and product demonstrations with customers, prospective clients, and partners

  • Work closely with prospects to gain a full understanding of their technical requirements and formulate proposals on how best to address the issues at hand

  • Keep current on competitive solutions, products, and services

  • Ensure customers are reaping the benefits of their investment by creating strong references, renewals, and opportunities for upsell

              

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or technical degree preferred

  • Industry Certification preferred

  • 3+ years’ work experience either as a Sales Engineer or Solutions Architect

  • Experience with API integrations highly desired

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to present to a variety of audiences

  • Strong consultative selling and technical collaboration skills

  • Experience with malware and threat intelligence analysis

  • Ability to travel
